As I look back on my childhood I remember how I loved going through our family albums. I would sit and go through every one of them and ask my mother questions about every picture. Who is that? Where are they now? Maybe it was curiosity but maybe it gave me a sense of who I am and where my family came from. Here is some reasons to consider why family photography is so important.
Stepping out into full time business has been a big step of faith for me, but God has been faithful all the way. Winning the wedding photo of the year competition has been a huge blessing and confirmation to me that this has been God's perfect timing. Take note that I did not send in the photo to the newspaper, nor the couple, it was a huge surprise to me when I learned later on that a friend of the couple sent in this photo. This could only be God and I give Him all the glory for it.
This was an awesome wedding I did at De Oude Kraal outside Bloemfontein with Katlego and Ipeleng.
A few years ago we went on a mission trip to Malawi on a bus. With the 40 hour drive their was not much to do, but friendships and memories was made that would last a lifetime. Marne was sitting with us and she ended up sitting right at the back of the bus talking to Mr. Kay Kay, for hours. Little did we know this was the beginning of beautiful love story. Looking forward to their wedding later this year.
This was my first engagement shoot with doggies and when dog lovers Rudolf & Pulani insisted on having their engagement session with them I was quite excited. They played along beautifully and made their mom and dad's photo session extra special.
I saw Pulane's face light up when she saw her groom Orapeleng. It was a very proud moment for the groom when he could call Pulane his wife. What caught my attention was what Orapeleng said during the speeches that he has been praying and fasting for his wedding day and God has made all their dreams come true by blessing them with a wonderful wedding with family and friends. Honour the Lord in all you do and He will give you the desires of your heart. Their wedding reception was held at the beautiful The Terrance at the Oliewenhuis Art museum and was well worth it.
